GOLD COAST GRAND BALLROOM

Are you planning a meeting in Melaka? Looking for a venue that’s convenient for central Melaka and Bandar Hilir? At The GCMIR, you can hold anything from an executive board meeting to a training seminar or conference for up to 500 delegates. We also throw a good party – you can arrange banquets, dinner dances, private parties, anniversaries, birthday celebrations and weddings.

 

NATURAL LIGHT, MODERN ELEGANCE

Each of our four patitions, elegantly decorated with a nod to the hotel’s history, features natural daylight and flexible seating arrangements.

The partitions combine to create two large banqueting halls, Grand Ballroom and Gold Coast 1|2|3|4. The Grand Ballroom has a maximum capacity of 500 guests for a banquet.

WiFi is free and a team of planners will arrange high-tech audiovisual equipment – see our event planning page for technical details.

Executive meetings take place in the boardroom , with its comfortable leather seats and contemporary lighting.

CATERING

Our chef will work with you to arrange catering for your event, from coffee breaks to working lunches and from cocktail parties to banquets.

How about a champagne afternoon tea , or karaoke with live music and DJs?

Guests can stay over afterwards in our 322 comfortable bedrooms , or head home safely thanks to excellent public transport . The concierge can also arrange a taxi service.

GOLD HARBOUR

Large or small, formal or casual, daytime or nightime, the Gold Horbour Hall resting between Hang Tuah and Hang Jebat block provides an ideal setting for dinners, luncheon, corporate events, seminars and business meeting. This brand new 9,600sq ft. elegance hall seats up to 310 for dinner and can easily accommodate 400 for more intimate gatherings.

Some of its architectural features include ceramic floor tiles, 40 feet stylist membrane structure canopy ceiling, fully air-condition with LED soffit lighting and 2 grand entrances. Host your ceremony outdoors and then bring your party of up to 500 guest indoor to celebrate an event that is design uniquely yours.

The Gold Harbour Hall nestled in a flame of the forest-like setting perfect for wedding receptions, parties, dances, school banquets and community organizational celebrations. With the ability to accommodate up to 400 people, the Gold Harbour Hall is spacious enough for and event.

The hall is decorated in romantic contemporary tones of light blue, yellow and gold. The guests will enjoy the maroon ballroom banquest chairs and beautiful ceramic floor. Enjoy cocktails or standing reception with candlelight or fairy light.

DYNASTY BALLROOM

The Dynasty Ballroom offers a unique and charming atmosphere to enhance a variety of functions and events. Specially designated for the purpose of holding large formal gatherings, the hall is so spacious with softwood carpet flooring encompassed with higher ceilings that the sound of orchestras can be carry well throughout the whole area. Temporary movable stage can be used for instrumentalists and musical where host or a special guest can speak.

There are no other known examples of this style of interior intact.

The Ballroom is available for hire for a wide range of activities including:
